What We Do

The mission of Stronger Together is threefold: 1. To educate the citizens of Lebanon County of the prevalence of substance use disorder, 2. To identify and expand the available resources to combat addiction and 3. To end drug related deaths and crime in our community.

Prevention

Aimed towards schools, parents and families, and the community.

Harm Reduction

Supporting the health and dignity of people who experience substance use disorder and other community stakeholders by providing infection prevention resources and life-saving overdose response tools. These materials help prevent transmittable diseases while reducing the risk of fatal emergencies and health complications.

Treatment & Recovery

Identify community resources, gaps to resources, problems and how to address those problems.

Law Enforcement

Promote treatment and counseling through the legal system. Assist those arrested with drug charges.

There was a ripple effect of change, when he told her “Merry Christmas – you can go to treatment and not jail.” With a three-month daughter at home in the care of her parents, Samantha began her recovery journey that has provided her with a life beyond her wildest dreams.

I never thought the life I chose to live would end.​

I never thought the life I chose to live would end, no matter how hard I tried. After many failed attempts at many different rehabs, I decided to try MAT. Even though there was so much stigma towards it, I was willing to try anything. After a few weeks of being on MAT, I would stop using heroin and opiates. After some more time, I would eventually want to live a life free from all substances, and alcohol.
